He did it!

J.B. ran a marathon in Charlotte on Dec 9. He finished in 4 hours and 26 min, which is 10 min and 10 second miles. I am so proud!! I felt like I had run a marathon by the end of the day. Bradford wanted to run with every runner he saw and I had to keep up with him!!

Surprise!

My 30th birthday was Dec 17. J.B. and the teenagers at church threw me a surprise party. I had no idea about the party and I was clueless that T.J. was about to cover me in icing! Bradford's reaction was, "Mommy, clean your face off!"

Carley with my very first baby doll given to me by my grandmother. Bradford wanted her to have a toy to play with so he went to her room and came back with this doll.

Decorating for Christmas

We put the Christmas train around the coffee table-both of them love it!

We went a little overboard with the 12 ft tree but I love it! Bradford was dying to get up on the ladder so we let him help me put a few ornaments up. Every morning he stands at the top of the stairs and yells, "Mommy, look at that BIG Christmas tree!"

You won't believe all the bribes we had to give Bradford to sit here and hold Carley! Nor would you believe the number of pictures it took to get both of them looking in the same direction. Bradford's smile was an added bonus!

She is holding her head up pretty good and loves to follow objects...usually the ones being thrown by Bradford! She has slept through the night 2 nights in a row! PRAISE THE LORD!!! Mommy was TIRED!!

WOW! J.B. is up to 20 miles! He was pretty tired after that long of a run but he still managed a smile for his proud wife with the camera!

A few cute pictures of our little girl. She is smiling and almost laughing sometimes. She is now 9 lb and 13 oz and only waking once in the night to nurse. She has definitely stolen our hearts!

Fall Fun

Bradford and Daddy were skipping stones in the river. Bradford decided he wanted his stone back and went into the water to get it!
We took Bradford to see Thomas the Tank Engine. He has said every day since then, "Mommy, I go see BIG Thomas!"


He loves to climb so we have great fun at playgrounds!

Most of the time Bradford just ignores Carley but every once in a while we get a picture moment when he wants to hold her and kiss her. So cute!

First Real Bath

She liked her first real bath much better than I thought she would. She didn't cry until the drying off part when she got cold.

Carley's first few days at home

She likes her bouncy seat...usually watching big brother run around. She got her first bath today (sponge bath because the cord has not fallen off yet). Her hair look REALLY red when it is freshly washed!

Bradford is doing pretty good with her. His biggest problem in life right now is getting his 2 year molars in. His teeth have really been hurting lately.
Only way we could get this picture was to turn on cartoons at the same time!
Carley brought Bradford a new train when she arrived and that made him feel much better.
