2nd Birthday Party...a little early

He finally got some tracks to go on his train table and now we can't get him to stop playing!

He picked out this cake. He had been asking for a "truck cake" for months and this is the one he wanted.

First Day of Preschool

Bradford started Preschool this week at our church. He will continue to go a few days a week while I'm on maternity leave (not sure I can handle 2 kids everyday at first!). All of his teachers were amazed at how mature and smart he is! Of course we already knew that to be true! :)

New House

We moved into our new house back in Feb. I realized many of you had not seen it. There is still so much we have to do but it will all come in time.

New Baby to arrive Aug. 31!

Bradford and I at Baby Carley's shower at the church. Nana got the letters for her room. Here I am at 8.5 months pregnant. She is breech like Bradford was so we will have a C-sect next Thursday!

New developments in Bradford's life...

Bradford transitioned very well to his new "big boy bed" this summer so the new baby could have his crib. He loves it and enjoys reading himself to sleep each night (just like his Daddy!). He got to meet his new cousin, Kristin, a few weeks ago. She and her Mommy and Daddy were in from Japan for a nice long visit and they played pretty well together. Due to recurring ear infections he had to have tubes put in both ears. He was a real trooper and danced around the hospital like he owned the place.

What Bradford loves to do...

Bradford's favorite things right now are swimming, watching fireworks, and Thomas the Train! He swims as often as possible at MaMa and PaPa's house and has no fear! On a couple of occasions this summer PaPa has shot off fireworks by the pool and now Bradford constantly asks for more! Thomas the Train has become another member of the family...the table, movies, trains, tracks, books, shirts, shoes, EVERYTHING is Thomas! He knows every train, what color they are, and some story about each of them. He is a very active and inquisitive little boy who will be 2 on Sept. 7 (one week after the new baby arrives!)
